The coat has a Sympatex polyester blend outer layer and a 100% windproof, breathable, 25% bio-content, pore less polyester membrane for added protection against the elements. There's an internal rain drop seat as well as storm flaps to conceal a two way waterproof zip. The coat's hood can be detached with a single zip to make it easy to remove when needed. When the hood is removed there is a secondary detachable mesh hood to keep away the insects when out in the elements. Its design features include underarm gussets, a new developed action back, an adjustable waist channel, concealed velcro cuff fastenings with internal lycra sleeves and cartridge pockets with retainer straps from the fleece lined hand warmer pockets.
