Ken Hunt began engraving as a Purdey apprentice in 1950. He later experimented with groundbreaking techniques such as acid etching and damascening inlays to produce bespoke artwork. Perfecting his style over 60 years has allowed him to create stunning game scenes and animal portraits. The original for this print, one of a limited edition of 20, was rendered in watercolour and dark ink on heavy paper. The blue scroll which encircles the subject is Victorian in style. Exclusive to Purdey, hand signed by the artist and numbered in pencil.
