The Hirst Holdall is suitable for daily use as a handbag or for an overnight stay. The cotton straps are topstitched all the way around for added strength, and the handles pass through the leather flap to close. These design features, plus the poppers, allow the bag to expand easily to accommodate your possessions. Internally, there are two pockets attached to the cotton lining, and a zipped pocket for valuables on the other side. On the back between the straps is a small pouch, ideal for holding a phone. The nettle cotton canvas used on the exterior is woven in the UK. It is based on the fabric commissioned by the Swiss Army in WW2 which was favoured for its strength and durability. It is finished with a stain and water-resistant coating to ensure it is practical for everyday use.
