Engraved Crystal Hoggit

The Hoggit is traditionally used for serving port at the end of the meal, the conical base meaning it has to pass from hand to hand around the table before arriving back at its stand. Made from crystal, walnut and silver, this Hoggit bears the Purdey scroll engraving and iconic Purdey Starburst. The crystal neck has a sterling silver collar, hallmarked in Birmingham, and the stopper is topped by a silver cap. The walnut base is made from the same wood used for our stocks and the base is covered in felt. Capacity - 95 centilitres.
